Funding available to tackle cancer and cold-related illnesses
The scheme, run by a national community interest company, is aimed at tackling cancer and cold-related illnesses by allocating
grants for new boilers.
Studies have shown a clear link between living in cold or damp properties and the worsening of health conditions such as heart, lung or kidney conditions, diabetes, arthritis and asthma. The scheme provides funding for us, and other approved contractors, to install new energy-efficient Worcester Bosch boilers, to help more people across the UK live in warmer homes and improve their health, as well as saving money on their energy bills.
To qualify, a household member should be at risk of exacerbating a cold-related condition. There is also funding available for those suffering with other conditions.
