For a small monthly fee, boiler cover gives access to engineers who can repair the system in an emergency, and covers the cost of servicing and repairing your boiler and heating system. A qualified engineer will fix the problem quickly with the call-out, parts and labour costs already covered by your monthly premium.
But is it worth the money?
Boilers are one of the most expensive items in the home, so it is important to be prepared in case the system fails.
The cost of boiler repair can vary depending on the extent of the fault or damage. According to Money Supermarket, you can expect to pay anything from £150 for a minor repair or closer to £300 for more serious work. We have three value for money levels of cover, starting at just £6.99 per month. Service cover includes priority call outs, a 24-hour helpline and a 25% discount off the cost of any repairs. This is ideal for those customers with a relatively new boiler as it maintains the boiler warranty.
For households requiring more extensive cover, our Gold service plan includes an annual boiler service and also insures other components of your heating system including radiators, central heating pipe work and heating controls.
Our highest level of cover is our Platinum service plan, which provides all the benefits of the basic and Gold plans, but also includes the replacement of any faulty parts inside the boiler.
All work is carried out by our highly experienced and Gas Safe certified engineers.
